Exhausts
TWO STROKE MOTORCYCLE systems have laquered mild steel exhaust pipes varied finishes for the silencer, depending on the application.
FOUR STROKE MOTORCYCLE systems have stainless steel pipework, and the silencers have stainless steel internals and end caps. The exceptions are silencers described as 'titanium+ carbon fibre' - these have titanium shell with a carbon fibre end cap, and those described as 'all carbon fibre' - these have carbon fibre shell as well as a carbon fibre end cap.
Where silencers are described as 'titanium' , 'aluminium' or 'carbon fibre' this is the shell of the silencer only.
ROAD APPROVED means there is EU noise homogation for the silencer or system.
XTREME EXHAUSTS for 50cc SCOOTERS have the latest EU homologation. Xtreme is designed to increase power and acceleration (and greatly reduce weight) but with no increase in noise level over standard. The exhaust pipe is lacquered mild steel, the silencer features a titanium sleeve and stainless steel end caps. In most cases front pulley rollers are supplied with the exhaust to assist performance increase.
MAXI EXHAUSTS are EU homologated exhaust pipes for current SCOOTERS 125cc upwards. They are designed as a reasonably priced replacement for the original exhaust.
