SPRING CLIP LINKS start with part number CL and RIVET LINKS start with part number RL. For some chains either type of joining link are available, but for most chains one or the other link only is listed. Most O Ring and X Ring chains only offer a Rivet Link. Non O ring chains tend to have only Spring Clip Links.
